This is a well made product that works nicely. It has features that make it a good portable dial.
This sundial has adjustable legs to help in leveling the dial (important for accurate readings), and a nice collapsible gauge for setting the adjustable dial plate to the right latitude. The collapsible gnomon is raised and solar time can be had to within about five minutes. This is quite acceptable for small portable dials, variations of which have been in production for a long time.
Fit and finish on this model is very nice. This gives the sun dial a nice appearance and also makes for ease of use. This dial comes in a nice box that is actually useful. These dials can be damaged easily (the compass is obviously a rather delicate component) and the box protects it in transport. I recommend this nice model.
